CUMULUS MEDIA | BOISE, ID is looking for a Promotion Director. The Promotion Director coordinates station promotional activities and executes station brand imaging (across all audio and visual platforms) for KBOI 93.1 News Talk, KTIK 95.3 The Ticket, KKGL96.9 The Eagle, KIZN 92.3 KISSIN Country, Magic 97.9 KQFC
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and execution of promotions across our five radio stations
Coordinate events including the logistics and planning of the events and onsite execution
Manage radio station vehicles and all remote equipment while keeping them in working order
Provide creative influence to enhance the stations image and visibility within the community to attract listeners and clients
Act as liaison between the Programming and Sales Departments to develop overall campaigns that are both client and brand friendly
Day to day management within the Promotions Department including policies and procedures.
Supervise station contests and on-air implementation of promotional programs. Ensures FCC compliance with all on-air, online and on-site promotional contesting/events
Oversee on-air contesting, on-site client promotions, station events and website promotion
Create client proposals and promotional concepts congruent with station image and strategies. Manage and write promotional recaps at the conclusion of events and promotions to outline the stations support
Represent stations at events and meetings with public and clients, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and basic audio/video Promotion tools
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent grammar and editorial skills
Strong time management skills; adept at setting priorities
Serious attention to detail, ability to multi task, juggle demanding deadlines, and work across departments
Stress tolerance especially under pressure and with tight deadlines
Effective collaborator with multiple levels within an organization
Strong interpersonal skills
2+ years' experience in RADIO promotion
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Education:
Associates or technical degree in Radio, Audio or Media Promotion/Imaging or related field or equivalent level of experience
2-4 years of college strong preferred
Pay Range
USD $40,000.00 - USD $50,000.00 /Yr.
