Qualifications

The Social Media Specialist combines creative storytelling, brand strategy, digital marketing expertise, and trend awareness to strengthen audience engagement, grow brand presence, and support the organization's evolving social media and digital communication initiatives.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
3-5 years experience in digital platforms, marketing technology, analytics, or related environment preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Experience with website management, CMS platforms, mobile applications, and digital marketing technologies preferred.
Exceptional organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage multiple brands, social media platforms, campaigns, deadlines, and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of social media strategy, audience engagement, brand positioning, content optimization, KPIs, SEO, buyer persona development, audience research, publishing, and web design.
Experience capturing, editing, and producing photo and video content for social media platforms preferred.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Manager, and X (formerly Twitter).
Must maintain professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of marketing principles, loyalty marketing, and digital marketing trends.
Detail-oriented with a strong quality-control, compliance, and audit-readiness mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental standards and Tribal Gaming Agency policies, practices, and procedures.
Manage and support social media presence across multiple enterprise brands, business units, venues, and digital platforms while maintaining consistent brand standards, messaging, personality, and voice.
Execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and increase sales.
Stay current on social media trends, content insights, platform updates, cultural trends, and industry best practices while identifying opportunities to implement emerging strategies and platform features aligned with business objectives.
Create, capture, publish, and manage high-quality photo, video, and written content across multiple social media platforms to support promotional campaigns, entertainment, resort amenities, food & beverage outlets, community initiatives, and overall brand engagement.
Generate and follow a content calendar.
Support live event, entertainment, promotional, and community coverage through timely social media content and audience engagement initiatives.
Maintain an active, timely, and engaging social media presence across all adopted platforms by responding to comments, messages, reviews, mentions, and audience interactions while fostering positive community engagement and elevated guest response standards.
Track, measure, and analyze campaign results.
Solicit and manage user-generated content and relationships with influencers.
Ensure all campaigns and promotional executions comply with internal controls, gaming regulations, and data governance standards; maintain documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews.
Partner with Promotions, Creative Services, Player Development, IT, and any relevant party to ensure accurate execution and communication of campaigns.
Uphold Miccosukee Service Expectations, maintain reliable attendance, and perform other related duties as assigned.
This position operates in a dynamic resort and office environment and requires the ability to:
Move throughout the property as needed
Use standard office and design equipment
Work indoors with potential exposure to environmental factors common to a casino resort setting
The Casino & Resort will function seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We may find it necessary to re-schedule shifts according to our business volume. You must be willing and available to fulfill these demands.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms to carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. This is a smoking environment.
