The Enterprise Account Director serves as the senior strategic lead and primary point of accountability for high-value, complex client relationships. Requiring a high level of immersion, this role acts as a deeply embedded executive partner responsible for end-to-end strategic alignment, performance outcomes, and the overall health of the partnership across all marketing initiatives.

Navigating the complexities of enterprise-scale organizations, this role demands extensive experience managing multiple executive stakeholders, extended planning cycles, and high-visibility strategic initiatives. The Enterprise AD maintains full accountability for partnership health, end‑to‑end strategic alignment, and the identification of growth opportunities that drive long‑term client impact.

What You'll Do
Executive Client Leadership

Serve as the senior strategic lead and primary point of accountability for a high‑value enterprise partnership

Cultivate deeply embedded, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including C‑suite, VP, and senior marketing leadership

Lead high‑visibility executive conversations, including QBRs, annual planning, business reviews, and commercial renewal discussions

Serve as the primary escalation point for all strategic, operational, and client partnership challenges

Facilitate strategic decision‑making by aligning marketing performance outcomes with broader business objectives and organizational realities

Uphold an exceptional standard of executive communication, professional discipline, and relationship management across all client interactions

Enterprise Strategy and Business Impact

Drive the evolution of long‑term account strategy, ensuring continuous alignment between client business objectives, growth targets, and internal agency priorities

Synthesize complex performance data into high‑level actionable insights and forward‑looking strategic recommendations for executive review

Orchestrate integrated, cross‑channel strategic planning in close collaboration with internal Strategy and channel leadership teams

Proactively identify and mitigate strategic risks, organizational shifts, and operational hurdles before they impact performance or partnership health

Ensure all strategic recommendations are grounded in enterprise realities, accounting for complex timelines, approval workflows, and internal dependencies

Maintain strategic clarity across high‑visibility initiatives, ensuring cross‑functional teams remain aligned to a unified vision and direction

Retention, Growth, and Commercial Ownership

Maintain full accountability for the retention strategy, account health, and client satisfaction across all assigned enterprise partnerships

Proactively identify strategic growth opportunities aligned with client business objectives, performance trends, and shifting organizational priorities

Direct scope development, renewals, forecasting, and long‑term business planning in collaboration with senior agency leadership

Oversee engagement performance, delivery quality, and resource allocation to ensure optimal profitability and utilization efficiency

Cross-Functional Leadership

Function as the primary lead across all internal service lines supporting the engagement, including Paid Media, SEO, Analytics, Creative, Strategy, and Project Management

Ensure all workstreams are aligned, prioritized, and executed against a unified strategy

Drive accountability and clarity across teams, ensuring deliverables meet standards

Partner closely with Project Management to maintain operational rigor across timelines, scopes, and communication streams

Proactively elevate and resolve risks related to delivery, performance, or stakeholder concerns

Establish and refine scalable processes and best practices for managing enterprise engagements

What You'll Bring

10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or digital marketing strategy

Proven track record of directing high‑visibility, multi‑channel enterprise engagements with substantial media oversight ($25M+ monthly), maintaining full accountability for budget orchestration, performance outcomes, and executive‑level strategic communication

Clear ownership of retention, upsell, and revenue outcomes

Experience leading executive‑level conversations

Ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes

Agency or consulting experience working across cross‑functional teams

Salary Range
$130,000 - $150,000

We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency and actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
