Together, we are building a sustainable future for local news.The TEGNA Executive Producer supports day-to-day editorial operations, content coordination and newsroom collaboration across all of TEGNA. This corporate role works closely with local stations, newsroom leaders, streaming teams and the corporate team to support breaking news coverage, content sharing, training initiatives and operational execution across broadcast, digital and streaming platforms.This position serves as a central coordination hub for companywide editorial initiatives, helping local stations execute coverage, share resources, and maintain consistent workflows during both daily coverage and major news events.### ResponsibilitiesCoordinate companywide breaking news coverage and content sharing between stations and centralized teamsSupport stations during major weather and breaking news events by coordinating communication, live coverage resources and shared content workflowsServe as a point of contact for internal teams, external partners and newsroom stakeholders during major coverage eventsCoordinate logistics for traveling crews, shared resources and enterprise coverage initiativesAssist with production and distribution of weather explainers, training materials and editorial presentationsOrganize and support newsroom training sessions, leadership programs and virtual workshopsMaintain internal communication systems, Teams channels, SharePoint resources and newsroom documentationMonitor contribution feeds and identify stories, video and coverage opportunities suitable for broader distributionCoordinate with graphics, streaming, digital and editorial teams on major coverage initiatives and enterprise projectsSupport rollout and adoption of newsroom systems, workflows and operational toolsAssist with companywide communications tied to editorial initiatives, training and newsroom operationsCoordinate content requests, permissions and licensing workflows with outside vendors and partnersSupport special projects, presentations, conferences and cross-functional newsroom initiatives### RequirementsMinimum of five years of experience in broadcast news, digital news, streaming or newsroom operationsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced news environmentExperience coordinating coverage, projects or newsroom workflows across multiple stakeholdersFamiliarity with newsroom systems, collaboration tools and content workflowsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work flexible hours during major breaking news or severe weather coverage### BenefitsExperience with broadcast, streaming and digital news operations preferredTEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families.
