Requested Tasks

Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to drive performance and exceed goals

Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key accounts and partners

Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and increase market share

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences

Develop annual budgets in conjunction with property Managing Director, Director of Finance, and Director of Revenue Management

Manage the hotel's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels

Oversee the development of marketing collateral, digital content, and advertising campaigns

Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI

Act as primary lead of all property marketing, digital, social media and public relations initiatives

Direct local market strategies for promotions, partnerships, local community outreach and events

Serve as property liaison to hotel teams including food & beverage, front desk and operations teams

Collaborate with Makeready home office teams and agencies to drive revenue and brand awareness

Responsible for ensuring print and digital advertising materials (email, website, paid media, online listings, OTAs) are accurate, on brand and aligned with business goals

Act as brand champion and collaborate with Makeready branding and communication team to ensure brand alignment for all property brands

Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and alignment with brand standards

Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles

Additional duties and assignments as assigned

Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality industry

Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and lead a high‑performing team

This role will require travel; the team member must be able to travel independently via airplanes, cars, car services and hotels
