This role requires a dynamic professional who can operate both strategically and tactically, managing the full spectrum of corporate communications including media relations, crisis communications, executive messaging, investor relations support, and brand positioning. The position demands exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating across all levels of the organization.Strategic Communications LeadershipDevelop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiativesCreate and maintain corporate messaging frameworks, positioning statements, and brand narrative for diverse engineering and construction (E&C) marketsConduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to inform communication strategies and messagingPartner with executive leadership to develop thought leadership platforms and industry positioningLead communication planning for major corporate initiativesMedia Relations & Public AffairsBuild and maintain relationships with national, trade, and regional media covering the E&C industryDevelop and execute media relations strategies for project wins, awards, executive appointments, and company milestonesWrite and distribute press releases, media advisories, and company statementsCoordinate media interviews and press meetings for senior executivesMonitor media coverage and provide analysis and recommendations to leadershipSupport internal departments interfacing with industry analysts and thought leadersExecutive Communications & Thought LeadershipDevelop speeches, presentations, and talking points for C-suite executives and senior leadershipCreate executive bylined articles, industry commentary, and thought leadership contentSupport CEO and senior executives with investor day presentations, earnings calls, and analyst meetingsCoordinate executive participation in industry conferences, speaking engagements, and awards programsManage executive social media presence and digital thought leadership initiativesInternal Communications & CultureDevelop and execute internal communication strategies to engage employees across multiple regions and business unitsCreate and distribute company-wide communications including CEO messages, business updates, and organizational announcementsSupport change management initiatives with targeted communication plans and materialsCoordinate town halls, all-hands meetings, and leadership communications eventsDevelop content for internal communications channels including intranet, newsletters, and digital platformsInvestor Relations & Financial CommunicationsSupport investor relations department and their activities with communication materials, executive messaging, and media coordinationCollaborate on earnings releases, annual reports, SEC filings communication elements, and other shareholder communicationsSupport the development of investor presentation materials and quarterly earnings call support documentationManage communication aspects of investor events, roadshows, and analyst meetingsMonitor and analyze investor and financial media coverageBrand Management & Content CreationEnsure consistent brand voice and messaging across all communication channels and materialsCreate compelling content across multiple formats including written, visual, and digital mediaDevelop case studies, project spotlights, and company success storiesCollaborate with marketing teams on integrated campaigns and brand initiativesOversee website content strategy and social media messaging for corporate channelsManage photography, videography, and multimedia content for corporate communicationsCrisis Communications & Issues ManagementDevelop and maintain comprehensive crisis communication plans and response protocolsServe as primary communication lead during crisis situations, coordinating internal and external messagingConduct risk assessments for potential communication challenges including project issues, safety incidents, and regulatory mattersTrain executives and project leaders on media relations and crisis communication best practicesManage reputation protection initiatives and stakeholder communications during challenging situationsREQUIREMENTS:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (required)Master's degree in Communications, MBA, or relevant advanced degree (strongly preferred)10-15 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing communicationsMinimum 5-7 years of experience in director-level or senior individual contributor rolesExperience in construction, engineering, architecture, or related B2B industries strongly preferredBackground working with publicly-traded companies and SEC reporting requirementsTechnical Skills & Industry KnowledgeExceptional written and verbal communication skills with portfolio of published workExperience with crisis communication planning and reputation managementProficiency with media monitoring tools, analytics platforms, and communication technologiesKnowledge of investor relations principles and financial communications best practicesUnderstanding of digital marketing, social media strategy, and content marketing principlesStrategic & Tactical CapabilitiesProven ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies independentlyStrong project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneouslyExperience managing corporate communication budgets and vendor relationshipsDemonstrated success in media relations and securing high-quality coverageAbility to translate complex technical concepts into
