Our clients Technology team is looking for a Senior Developer with a good blend of design, analytical & development skills. This individual should have experience working in a fast-paced environment such as an online marketing and operations type of company. It is preferred experience. But, not required. The Senior Developer will be involved in enhancing existing applications as well as developing new applications in support of the evolving business.
Education and Skills:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years software development experience
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Extensive knowledge and experience working with PHP, Codeigniter & Java
Extensive experience with modern front-end Javascript libraries (jQuery)
Extensive experience with REST/JSON APIs
Experience with Testing frameworks (PHPUnit)
Experience working with database SQL / PLSQL
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
Spring, Hibernate
Tomcat, Apache webserver
Git and CI tools
NoSQL databases (Mongo)
Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Business Analysts & Product Owner to perform detailed requirements analysis
Responsible for design, construction & unit testing of assigned components/modules
Support production implementation & post-production issues
Collaborates with other team members to implement application features, including user interface & business functionality
