DOEOverviewSeeking a Social Art Director to lead the development and execution of social-first creative across campaigns and seasonal initiatives. This role translates brand strategy into platform-native content, provides on-set direction, and drives high-quality photo and video production optimized for social platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesArt DirectionDefine and execute social-first creative across campaigns and seasonal initiativesTranslate brand strategy into platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and other channelsCommunicate creative direction to Art Directors and Content CreatorsProvide on-set art direction to ensure content aligns with platform best practices and brand standardsServe as the primary creative decision-maker on set for social contentDirect photographers on lighting, composition, and overall visual executionPartner with stylists and production teams to ensure environments support creative intentProvide real-time problem solving across in-store, studio, and on-location shootsReview and approve social content prior to leadership review and provide actionable feedbackStep in as Art Director for studio photography when neededDeliver live feedback on high-priority or complex shootsContent ProductionCapture photo and video content optimized for mobile-first social platformsCollaborate with content creators and studio teams on photo and video productionLead location scouting and selection for social-first shootsDirect and execute on-location content capture while balancing production timelinesManage set-building needs in partnership with stylists and producers, aligning creative goals with budget constraintsDirect on-camera talent, including content creators; step in as talent when neededBrief stylists on upcoming shoots and provide ongoing creative guidanceOwn development of shot lists and weekly production plansProvide visual references, propping direction, and product storytelling guidancePartner with styling and merchandising teams to track product usage across shootsStrategy & PlanningDevelop social creative direction during key planning moments and milestone reviewsPartner closely with stylists to guide social-first styling decisions through feedback and visual referencesQualificationsExperience in art direction with a focus on social and digital contentStrong understanding of platform-specific creative (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)Proven ability to lead on-set production and make real-time creative decisionsExperience directing photography and video for social-first campaignsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with creative, production, and merchandising teamsStrong organizational skills with experience managing shot lists and production workflowsPreferred SkillsMobile-first content creationOn-set directionVisual storytellingCreative strategyCross-functional collaborationBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
