What is the opportunity
Responsible for acquiring small business and personal clients, deepening existing relationships, and integrating both business & personal clients. Acts as a trusted strategic advisor, providing financial advice and consistently connecting client needs with CNB products and services. Develops and implements a disciplined business development plan, focusing on acquisition, retention, and expansion of relationships within the assigned portfolio.
What will you do
Acquire & deepen client relationships by generating new business and expanding relationships to become our client’s main bank option.
Manage a portfolio of existing clients, actively deepening relationships through cross‑selling and developing internal relationships to facilitate service issues and opportunities.
Deliver an exceptional client experience, ensuring needs are met and escalations resolved.
Improve sales and banking acumen through continuous development and collaboration with SMEs.
Provide holistic financial advice based on data insights, including deposit, investment, and credit growth.
Maintain awareness of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring risk‑aware decisions.
Partner across the CNB ecosystem to match clients with appropriate partners and champion the Global Relationship Management approach.
Represent the bank in the community through visible networking and participation in civic and professional activities.
Comply with all operational, credit, and regulatory policies (e.g., BSA, KYC, CRA, Fair Lending, Code of Conduct).
Deliver client‑centric solutions that align with client realities and growth ambitions.
Generate new business through strategic networking and relationship building.
Collaborate with PBB and other divisions to win business and progress shared goals.
Listen actively to client needs and articulate CNB’s value proposition.
Apply critical thinking to translate insights into tailored advice.
Adapt to changing circumstances and pivot advice accordingly.
Organize priorities using tools and best practices for consistent, exceptional service.
Conduct business with professionalism and polish, especially with Preferred clients.
What you need to succeed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
Additional Qualifications
Deep knowledge of CNB’s commercial, personal, and small business products.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (CIP, KYC, etc.).
Understanding of the economic environment and its impact on clients.
Ability to review financial statements and advise accordingly.
Negotiation skills for maintaining profitable relationships.
Knowledge of CNB’s policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $65,296 – $104,304 per year. Eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
