Production technician

job summary:
Leading Electronics Manufacturer is in search of a Production Technician/Assembler to join their team. We are seeking candidates who have 2-3 years of experience in assembly (Thermoforming experience preferred).

This is a 1 year contract to hire position ranging from $20-$21/HR 7-3:30 M-F. Please apply today!

responsibilities:

Read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.

Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.

Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.

Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.

Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.

Maintain inventory of product in workstations

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards

Identify product defects and report it

Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards as required

Maintain accurate and timely data

Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management

Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it

Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues

Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 2 years of experience
Education: High School (required)
