Job Overview Assistant in Motion Pictures to support two agents in the Production department. The candidate should have passion for talent representation and may consider an agent path. Responsibilities include administrative support, client communications, data tracking and occasional special projects.
Responsibilities Manage administrative duties including heavy phone and email handling, client calendar management, booking reports, expense report preparation, contract updates, and general office management tasks.
Serve as first point of contact with clients, agents, and network/studio executives.
Track and meticulously maintain grids of data and execute excellent follow‑up and follow‑through.
Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed.
Stay up to date on current entertainment events, especially Motion Pictures and Television.
Maintain trailers, files, and media links.
Qualifications Minimum 10 months of professional administrative or equivalent experience.
Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, meet tight deadlines, lead multiple projects, and handle competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidentiality.
Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to anticipate needs and execute time‑sensitive matters.
Team oriented with ability to collaborate across all levels.
Rapid learning of new processes and technology.
Preferred Skills Experience with editing or having worked on a set.
Knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Education BA/BS from an accredited university or college preferred; preference for law degrees.
Location On‑site, Los Angeles, CA, United States.
Compensation Base hourly rate $20.00–$22.00; eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
