Business Development Manager – St. Petersburg
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead on‑premise business in the St. Petersburg area, covering Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, and Holiday.

What You Will Do
As a Business Development Manager, you will develop on‑premise business through prospecting and new outlet acquisition within an assigned territory. The role involves hunting for new business, acquiring new outlets, setting up new accounts, and seamlessly transitioning outlets to our routing and replenishment structure.

Roles and Responsibilities

Utilize prospecting tools to generate leads

Prospect to secure new, competitive, and non‑buying accounts

Arrange in‑territory face‑to‑face selling opportunities

Evaluate outlet opportunities, qualify them, and calculate IRR when applicable

Propose appropriate brands, packages, and equipment to meet customer and consumer needs

Generate financial analysis for Customer Marketing Agreements

Determine appropriate sales coverage and replenishment method for ongoing account management

Coordinate account set‑up, initial equipment, and product deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction, including follow‑up

Enable seamless transition of outlets to the existing routing structure

Focus on the Bottler’s market goals and activation initiatives

Track daily, weekly, and monthly call activity and performance metrics against assigned goals

Collaborate with the integrated account team to manage key aspects of the customer relationship across multiple customers/divisions

Collaborate cross‑functionally within the Coke Florida organization to foster a culture of learning and development

For This Role, You Will Need

At least 5 years of experience in direct sales, commission sales, and/or account management in a large consumer goods organization

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record under MVR policy guidelines

Current vehicle liability insurance

Driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years*

Personal vehicle available for use during employee working hours

Additional Qualifications That Will Make You Successful

Proven hunter who acquires new business and grows the customer base

Ability to manage complex customer relationships

Experience in on‑premise and beverage categories preferred
