Description

Position Overview
To design and develop POS/graphics and layouts for our suppliers, customers, and corporate office.

Key Accountabilities

Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principals and esthetic design concepts.

Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer graphics software packages or other mediums.

Communicate artistic themes in flyers, posters, drink lists, handbooks, or other company presentation materials for our customers and suppliers.

Assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.

Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

Handle production work which entails photo copying, cutting, folding, mounting, and laminating

Maintain computer files

Manage the equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling in repairs.

Meet all required timelines with quality work

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent communication skills

Ability to concentrate in a loud office setting

Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines

Ability to lift 30 or more pounds

Team Player who collaborates well with others

Requirements
Education/Experience/Training

Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design

1 year of experience with computer design and layout programs

Experience within Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred

Physical Demands and Environment

Work performed requires or no measurable physical exertion, may be required to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds

Work is performed in a normal office sitting with intermittent standing or sitting as determined by the incumbent

Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks requiring periods of focused mental and visual concentration

Works in a normal office environment

Minimal potential for injury in the performance of duties
