Responsibilities

Client Delivery

Contribute to and help shape the visual design direction on engagements from concept through delivery, supporting quality, aesthetic cohesion, and adherence to project timelines.

Think conceptually and translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into compelling visual executions, with growing ability to develop and defend an original visual point of view.

Produce high‑quality visual design work across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences, with a strong command of craft and attention to detail.

Take ownership of your workstream, make considered and purposeful design decisions, and deliver production‑ready output with minimal redirection.

Use AI tools actively in your workflow to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, and contribute to the team’s evolving AI‑enabled ways of working.

Engage confidently in client and stakeholder conversations, communicating your design rationale clearly and developing your presence as a trusted creative voice.

Business Development

Document and share how AI tools are changing your workflow, contributing to the practice’s evolving understanding of AI‑enabled visual design.

Support the development of proposals and case studies by contributing project work, process documentation, and design narratives that showcase our visual design capabilities.

Stay attuned to internal needs, client needs, and creative opportunities on your engagements, flagging potential areas for deeper work or expanded scope to your lead.

People & Practice Development

Support and informally mentor junior team members, sharing feedback, creative references, and ways of working that help them grow their visual craft.

Be an active and engaged member of the Visual Design Craft community, contributing to shared resources, community discussions, and the ongoing development of the discipline.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Visual Design spanning a range of industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts.

2+ years of experience contributing to visual design engagements end‑to‑end, from creative concepting and visual strategy through to production‑ready delivery.

Producing brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI that demonstrate a strong and developing visual voice.

Delivering high‑fidelity visual work with strong attention to detail, including pixel‑perfect deliverables and developer‑ready specifications.

Experience providing feedback and informal guidance to junior designers, with a growing ability to help others develop their craft and creative confidence.

Experience working in agile and cross‑functional environments, collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences.

Grounding in user experience (UX) principles that inform your visual design decisions, understanding how design guides users intuitively while expressing a coherent brand point of view.

Experience contributing to scalable design systems that ensure visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels.

Comfort using AI tools in your visual design practice, from concept generation and mood‑boarding to rapid iteration, and openness to evolving AI‑enabled ways of working.

Recent hands‑on experience in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant motion, illustration, or AI design tools.

Experience with communication skills and developing client presence; ability to present design rationale and contribute to creative discussions with stakeholders.

Bonus Points

Interest or developing fluency in adjacent areas such as brand strategy, service design, content design, or expanding your skillset in a self‑directed way.

Experience contributing to practice‑level initiatives such as ways of working, craft assets, onboarding, or community forums.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in visual design, visual communications, graphic design, fine art, or a related creative field.

Experience working in management consulting, a creative agency, or a professional services environment.

You are beginning to build an external presence through publishing creative POVs, participating in design community events, or sharing work publicly.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a variety of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Salary ranges by region (USD): California $73,800 to $218,800; Cleveland $68,300 to $175,000; Colorado $73,800 to $189,000; District of Columbia $78,500 to $201,300; Illinois $68,300 to $189,000; Maine $62,800 to $161,000; Maryland $73,800 to $189,000; Massachusetts $73,800 to $201,300; Minnesota $73,800 to $189,000; New York $68,300 to $218,800; New Jersey $78,500 to $218,800; Virginia $68,300 to $201,300; Washington $80,200 to $201,300.
