Digital Marketing Manager

Carolina Estate Planning · Winston Salem, NC, USA ·

Pay:
$85,000-$905,000/yr
Job type:
Full Time

About this position
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who takes initiative, thrives when busy, and can make marketing magic happen. This is not a post-and-pray role. We need someone who owns outcomes — someone who wakes up thinking about how to reach the right families at the right moment and move them to take action.

In addition to running our digital marketing channels, you will play a key role in building and nurturing our referral partner network — organizing events and cultivating relationships with other professionals who serve our ideal clients.

You will work directly with the firm’s Fractional CMO, the firm’s Founder, and the Director of Operations to design and execute a marketing engine that drives real, measurable growth. You will also bring deep expertise in artificial intelligence tools to work smarter, produce better content faster, and find opportunities others miss.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary of $85,000 – $905,000 plus performance-based bonuses

Health and wellness benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, Life, 401(k) match)

Flexible work arrangements — hybrid

Direct access to and mentorship from firm leadership, including the Founder and Fractional CMO

A culture that values work-life balance and genuinely cares about your personal, professional, and financial growth

Learning and development opportunities, including access to training, workshops, and career advancement resources

A fast-moving, supportive team where high performers are recognized and rewarded

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Paid Advertising

Plan, manage, and optimize Facebook Ads and Google Ads to consistently generate qualified estate planning leads

Own SEO strategy and ensure our website is always fresh, technically sound, and ranking for the searches that matter most to our ideal clients

Manage and grow our social media presence with content that informs, engages, and converts

Track, analyze, and report on all campaign and channel performance — and use those insights to continuously optimize results

Content Creation & Brand Building

Create high-quality legal content, including blogs, website copy, glide paths, email nurture sequences, and educational guides that build trust and drive conversions

Lead brand-building efforts across all digital and print channels, ensuring a consistent, compelling voice that resonates with families planning their futures

Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, and others) to accelerate content production, optimize ad copy, analyze performance data, and automate repetitive tasks

Seminars & Events

Plan and execute live and virtual client seminars — from concept and promotion to logistics and post-event follow-up — that position Carolina Estate Planning as the premier estate planning resource in our market

Organize and manage referral partner events, including workshops, appreciation dinners, and networking gatherings that strengthen relationships and drive warm introductions

Referral Pipeline & Partner Network

Build and maintain a robust referral partner network of financial advisors, CPAs, elder law professionals, wealth managers, senior care providers, and other centers of influence who serve our ideal clients

Develop and execute a referral marketing strategy that keeps Carolina Estate Planning top of mind with partners and generates a steady pipeline of qualified introductions

Create partner-facing content and communications — newsletters, event invitations, resource kits — that reinforce our value and deepen relationships

Track referral activity and partner engagement, and report on the pipeline contribution of the referral channel to firm leadership

Qualifications
What Success Looks Like in This Role

Ad campaigns that consistently generate qualified leads with a measurable return on ad spend

A growing referral partner network that delivers a reliable pipeline of warm introductions month over month

Seminar and event seats that fill up, and attendees who convert into clients

High-quality legal content that is SEO-optimized, reflects the expertise of our attorneys, and earns genuine trust from readers

AI tools are integrated into the marketing workflow in ways that meaningfully save time and improve output quality

A brand presence that is recognizable, trusted, and growing across Winston‑Salem and the Durham‑Chapel Hill market

Proactive communication with leadership — you surface opportunities and flag issues before anyone has to ask

Who You Are

You have 3+ years of hands‑on digital marketing experience, ideally in a professional services, legal, or financial services environment

You have proven, results-backed experience running paid campaigns on Facebook and Google — you can show us the numbers

You are genuinely proficient with AI tools and use them daily to enhance your work — not just as a talking point

You have experience building referral relationships or partner networks and understand what it takes to turn a warm connection into a consistent pipeline

You are a strong writer who can produce compelling long‑form content that is accurate, engaging, and needs minimal editing

You have experience planning and promoting events or seminars from concept through post-event follow-up

You are data-driven and translate analytics into smarter decisions and better results

You thrive in fast-paced, enterprising environments and do not need someone looking over your shoulder
