EvolveMKD is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and resourceful Director/AVP to join our Digital team. The ideal candidate is an influencer marketing authority who treats talent relationships as long-term partnerships, really understands social media, and knows how to translate cultural engagement into business results by connecting clients with the right creators, communities, and cultural moments.
This role demands a forward-thinking command of the evolving creator economy, deep familiarity with the beauty and healthcare landscape, and a proven track record of architecting and executing multi-tiered influencer strategies across the full creator spectrum. The ideal candidate is equally strategic and creative: able to develop the vision and execute it, end to end.
They will also have prior success managing a growth-oriented team, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They are proactive, solutions-oriented, and bring excellent organizational and client management skills to every workstream.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead integrated influencer and social media strategies for our portfolio of top-tier aesthetic, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer healthcare clients (including regulated and pharmaceutical brands). This role will report to our VP, Influencer & Social.
EvolveMKD is based in Manhattan, and we operate on a hybrid schedule (in-office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Relocation assistance is not provided.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain long-term relationship with content creators, talent agencies, management companies, and physicians/KOLs
Identify, vet, and audit influencers using tools such as Brandwatch; maintain and grow our proprietary internal talent contact database
Manage influencer campaigns across a range of tiers, including nano/micro, macro, Phys-Influencers, and celebrity spokespeople
Negotiate influencer contracts, ensuring clear scope, timelines, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity windows, and compliance
Translate marketing goals into clear, inspiring creative briefs; oversee content development from concepting and storyboarding through to posting
Develop and execute earned influencer programs including product seeding, gifting moments, and in-office aesthetic treatment experiences
Maintain a current understanding of FDA and FTC regulations as they relate to social media and influencer marketing for healthcare and regulated brands
Monitor for and share the latest creator economy trends and competitive activations to keep clients at the forefront of the industry
Set the strategic direction for organic social across client accounts, including both branded and unbranded programs
Lead content calendar development, including copywriting, design briefs, and multimedia assets, to drive engagement and achieve client KPIs
Identify opportunities around key cultural moments to propose new initiatives
Advise on paid amplification of social media and influencer content; working knowledge of paid social required, independent campaign management is not expected
Monitor platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to optimize content performance and stay ahead of industry change

Measurement & Analytics

Collaborate with our Strategy & Insights team to set meaningful KPIs for each campaign
Track and analyze KPIs to ensure results ladder up to overall strategies
Present insightful performance reports to clients and internal leadership with pivotal insights, trends, and actionable recommendations for optimization

Client and Partner Management

Execute day-to-day workflow across direct reports, peers, clients, vendors, and freelancers to ensure seamless campaign execution
Develop and lead client strategy with an emphasis on results-driven tactics, excellent client service, and budget management
Serve as a strategic and creative thought partner to clients, anticipating needs, and proactively bringing forward new ideas
Collaborate with VP to craft new business proposals and pitch new business

Team Management & Development

Manage and mentor SAEs/AEs, acting as a daily coach to support professional development and workload prioritization
Work with VP to expand team capabilities and identify tools that support effective execution
Serve as a key operational link between internal and external teams to ensure cross-functional alignment; manage up to ensure visibility and momentum with senior leadership

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years of digital experience with a strong focus in influencer and social media, and 4+ years of management experience
Agency experience is a must. Previous experience working at a PR agency with a strong digital practice or social/influencer agency with PR collaboration experience
Beauty industry experience required; consumer healthcare strongly preferred. Other regulated industry will also be considered
Robust end-to-end influencer experience: talent identification, vetting, contracting, relationship management, content development, and measurement
Established relationships with influencers and talent agents across beauty and/or healthcare categories
Working knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations for social media and influencer marketing in healthcare/regulated industries
Excellent written communication skills across formats: client emails, social copy, creative briefs, and presentations
Advanced knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging platforms
Working knowledge of paid social platforms (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, etc.); independent campaign management not required
Experience with influencer and social media management tools (e.g. BrandWatch, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in Canva and Airtable a plus
Strong project management skills and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

Annual Base Salary Range

$125,000-$180,000
Compensation and title will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
