About the Role
Senior Director of FP&A, Customer Acquisition – a senior leadership role on the Commercial Finance team and a strategic finance partner to our global Customer Acquisition organization. The role owns the long‑range plan, annual budget, and ongoing forecast for Customer Acquisition, shapes the financial strategy, investment framework, and performance management cadence that drive efficient, profitable customer growth. The Senior Director leads a global team of 14, ensuring decision‑makers have the insight to optimize marketing and sales investments, deploy capital effectively, and deliver on our growth and margin ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to the Customer Acquisition teams on business initiatives, growth opportunities, spend structure, business planning and integration.
Work closely with business segment leadership to improve and strategically support business operations, including ownership and accountability for financial performance.
Partner with Marketing Analytics to optimize marketing spend through data science models and spend curves, targeting high-LTV customers for strong long‑term growth and analyzing program spend via funnel metrics.
Champion the use of AI, advanced analytics, and process automation to modernize forecasting, reporting, and performance management, driving faster, more accurate insights and freeing capacity for higher‑value work.
Develop key metrics and benchmarks to measure overall performance.
Actively track all material initiatives and investments to summarize progress relative to commitments made during the planning process.
Lead business unit planning processes.
Create creative and ad‑hoc models that enable effective decision making.
Oversee an organization of 14 individuals, fostering professional growth and retaining valuable talent through coaching and development opportunities.
Qualifications
Understanding of the broader business context and ability to align financial decisions with the organization's strategic direction.
Deep understanding of finance principles, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ability to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, fostering collaboration and driving results in a matrixed organization.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the ability to interpret complex financial information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to address complex financial challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Natural curiosity with a passion about the business and related performance.
15+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, including leadership positions.

Location
Tempe, AZ Office – onsite 3 days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $220,000 and $250,000. Total compensation includes 401(k) match, health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
