Job summary

The Business Development Manager drives profitable revenue growth within AWT’s Personal Care and Beauty segment. This role is responsible for identifying, securing, and expanding strategic customer partnerships while delivering consistent, margin-focused growth.


Based in Southern California, this high-impact position will expand AWT’s presence in branded personal care and beauty markets, positioning the company as a design-driven, technically capable packaging partner. The role requires disciplined pipeline development, consultative selling, and strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure long-term account success.


Job duties and responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Personal Care and Beauty market.

· Develop long-term customer partnerships by understanding brand objectives, packaging strategies, and growth plans.

· Conduct consultative sales discussions to align AWT’s technical and decorative capabilities with

customer needs.

· Prepare accurate, competitive proposals aligned with customer specifications and company

profitability objectives.

· Deliver persuasive sales presentations highlighting AWT’s innovation, quality, and operational

strengths.

· Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.

· Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and strategic account development.

· Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging packaging technologies.

· Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting within Salesforce.

· Collaborate with operations, estimating, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution and

customer satisfaction.

· Perform other duties aligned with annual growth objectives.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

· Experience selling value-based solutions in a competitive environment.

· Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.

· Ability to manage complex customer programs and multi-SKU portfolios.

· Financial acumen with focus on profitable growth.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Willingness to travel as required.


Education and Work experience

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 5+ years of B2B sales experience in packaging, labels, or related industries.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Experience working with branded manufacturers or contract manufacturers preferred.

· Technical aptitude and understanding of production-driven environments.
