The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or customer service within the hospitality industry, with a keen ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional service. You will be responsible for responding to inbound RFPs, soliciting extensions business from existing guests, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless stay experiences. As a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining extreme attention to detail and organization.RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to inbound RFPs from partnersSolicit extensions business from existing in house guestsDevelop excellent understanding of selling tools, client RFP portals, sales systems, and business intelligence systemsDevelop an excellent understanding of the Company's property portfolio to optimize for client needsRecognize client needs and recommend multiple good options for clients to maximize contract win ratesMaintain data in the CRMUnderstanding of basic sales techniques and customer serviceTaking notes during weekly meetingsProvide customers with necessary information on property facilities and amenities and determine levels of interestCollecting payment from travel agencies and clientsInterface with travel agencies (via email and phone calls) to respond to and address client issues in a timely and professional manner, both during the booking process and during the client stayBuild and maintain rapport with travel agency counterparts to ensure great working relationshipsCoordinate with internal guest experience teams, housekeeping partners, and maintenance partners to deliver excellent stay experiences for clients (e.g. ensuring walk-through and pre-stay checklist completion)Other administrative, coordination, and data analysis tasks, on an as-needed basisBuilding listings in client portals and select the best photos to represent the Company's propertiesOther evolving responsibilities as the B2B sales department growsQUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of sales or customer service experience in hotels, vacation/short term rentals, or corporate housingStrong interpersonal skills and strong understanding of sales processBachelor\'s degree or more advanced degree requiredFamiliarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is positively viewedFamiliarity with business intelligence tools like Zoominfo is positively viewedExtreme attention to detail and organization skills; natural tendency to think and organize work in a highly structured and granular way25 mbps+ internet download speed and a quiet private workspace – there should be no sound of animals, other people/kids, or TV in your workspace to disrupt your outbound calls.Tech-savvy/able to use various apps and programs to make the job easier –Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc..), WhatsApp, Slack, Zoom/Skype (video conferencing), and other VoIP applications. Adequate Excel skills are a must.
