Mountain Ltd. is seeking a Fiber Layout Specialist in the New Gloucester, ME area!Fiber Layout Specialist – Telecom Design SupportMountain Ltd. is seeking a Fiber Layout Specialist to support ongoing telecom network design and records reconciliation efforts for a major fiber provider. This role will focus on fiber layout creation, splice planning support, and validation of network records across multiple systems, including Vetro and legacy mapping platforms.The ideal candidate will have experience in telecom fiber design, GIS‑based mapping systems, or outside plant records management. Experience with Vetro is preferred but not required. This position requires reporting to a designated office location due to secured system and laptop access requirements.Responsibilities Create and update fiber layouts and splice plans within VetroReview and validate fiber routing information across multiple telecom systemsCross‑reference network data between Vetro, legacy records systems, spreadsheets, and circuit databasesIdentify available fiber paths and validate continuity between splice locations and central office facilitiesSupport cleanup and reconciliation efforts resulting from legacy system migration into VetroWork within SiteTracker to review project assignments, provisioning information, and construction milestonesGenerate splice planning documentation and contractor‑ready deliverablesTrack and document records discrepancies, fallout splice cases, and missing circuit informationCoordinate with internal engineering and records teams to resolve mapping inconsistenciesMaintain accurate records and updates within tracking spreadsheets and design systemsParticipate in training and workflow development as systems continue to evolve and improveRequired Qualifications Experience in telecommunications, fiber engineering, OSP design, GIS mapping, or network records managementStrong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple software platforms simultaneouslyAbility to analyze and reconcile conflicting data between systemsComfortable learning telecom terminology, splice planning concepts, and fiber routing logicStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently while coordinating closely with remote teamsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Vetro fiber management softwareExperience with SiteTrackerFamiliarity with fiber splice planning and circuit routingUnderstanding of telecom outside plant architecture and fiber color codingExperience with legacy telecom records systems or data migration projectsGIS or mapping platform experienceAdditional Information Training will be provided by Mountain Ltd. and client subject matter expertsInitial onboarding will begin with a focused pilot approach using a small support teamPosition requires onsite access at a designated Mountain office location in Maine due to secured client hardware and system access requirementsOpportunity to expand into additional engineering and telecom support functions over time#J-18808-Ljbffr
