Job Summary Lead Advertising Sales for the nation's most powerful private airport portfolio (100+!). Drive growth with brands in the Luxury and B2B categories, by developing client and agency relationships that expand revenue and increase media investment in these unique Clear Channel Outdoor assets. This role requires deep knowledge of related strategy and planning, strong relationships with key clients, and marketing expertise across products and services looking to engage the top 1% of all travelers. Be the face and voice of Clear Channel's 100+ locations with industry organizations and associations where connections and decisions are made.Job Responsibilities Exceed revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisBecome an expert in your inventory and designated industry assignmentMake cold calls and connect with C‑Level clients through phone, email and networking strategiesGenerate sufficient outreach to obtain meetings with existing and new clients every weekConduct Customer Needs Assessments (CNAs) resulting in insights and opportunities that lead to proposal submissionPrepare compelling and competitive proposals and presentationsPresent ideas and advertising solutions that meet client needsDetermine project pricing based on established guidelinesEstablish, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients and their agenciesEnsure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in cooperation with Creative, Operations, Marketing and Finance staffManage a pipeline to understand business in a data‑driven way and effectively self‑managePerform other duties as assigned or requiredJob Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience requiredMinimum two (2) years of sales experience or other relevant work experience required; five (5)+ years of sales experience preferredDemonstrated track record of business‑to‑business and progressive sales experience preferredMedia and/or OOH sales experience preferredStrong organizational / time‑management skills and detail‑orientedSkilled in working closely with customers to develop and cultivate client relationships to grow accountsSales achievement with experience in consultative or needs‑based selling techniquesCollaborative and professional style with the objective of building strong relationships with diverse customer groups and vendorsSelf‑starter with diligent work ethic and demonstrates flexibilityAble to multi‑task and stay calm under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and social media platformsCompetencies Account Management – building long‑term, value‑based relationships, developing business and maximizing revenue while reducing time and costsCommunication – listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiencesInitiative – dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that ariseManaging the Sales Process – following the organization's sales methodology to achieve sales targetsNegotiating – seeking to resolve different perspectives or matters of dispute by discovering shared interests and finding mutually acceptable solutionsNetworking – establishing, sustaining, and fostering professional contacts to build, enhance, and connect networks for work purposesPresentation – preparing and delivering presentations in formal and informal settings, engaging the audience and managing logistical componentsPhysical Demands Attendance is essential. Attendance at weekly/monthly meetings is required. This position involves working in an office and in the field, making sales calls and servicing existing accounts. Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds; see written documents and computer screens; adjust focus. Travel outside the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. Hybrid role, in‑office in Torrance, CA 3 days per week.Targeted Salary Range California position: $125,000 to $150,000 annually. Overtime eligible for hourly roles; productivity pay eligible for operations roles.
