This frontline role is responsible for ensuring the safety, integrity, and security of the Center while documenting daily activities. The position also supports overall program operations through essential administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesObserve all persons entering and exiting the buildingDocument, inform, and report all incidents and daily activities that occur during the shiftAnswer the main facility telephone, take messages, and/or direct callers as appropriateFacilitate Medication Observation according to policy and procedureSupport searches in the residence for contrabandEnforce house rules, procedures, and protocols for clientsDistribute sorted client mail as outlined in the procedurePerform regular security and wellness checks throughout the facilityAssist in emergency disaster responses and emergency drillsRespond to all incidentsAssist other departments of the center to prevent disruption of operationsAssist in the admissions and exits of clients as directed by the Program DirectorAssist with sanitization of program high-touch surfaces to maintain a healthy and safe program facilityOther related duties as requiredEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required)First Aid and CPR certification (within first fourteen days of employment – company provided).Tuberculosis clearance (within first seven days of employment – company provided)Experience and ability to work successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental illness, and other potential barriers to self-sufficiencySkills and AbilitiesProficiency with Microsoft programsIntegrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential mannerExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with follow-throughCulturally competent and able to work with a highly diverse populationKnowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed environmentEquipment UsedModern Office Equipment and Relevant SoftwarePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.
