Maintrol Engineer

JMC Aviation are working with an airline based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Maintrol Engineer to join their team.This client is an aircraft maintenance subsidiary which provides support services such as fleet maintenance, cabin interior conversions and general ramp maintenance work for both their own fleet and other airlines. This vacancy is available due to business turnovers.This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester.Shift pattern: 5-5-4 shift pattern, guaranteed 2 weekends off per month (days and nights)Salary and Benefits £78,000 (inclusive of shift pay)Staff Travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on worldwide flights.Holiday Entitlement: 24 Shifts inclusive of Bank HolidaysStaff travel benefitsPrivate medical insuranceCompany sick paySalary sacrifice schemesElectric vehicle schemeCycle to work schemeHealth cash planGym and retail discountsEmployee assistance programmeThe Role The primary purpose of this role is to act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third‑party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations delivery.Other Duties Involve Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activitiesControl and monitor Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs)Support aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty‑time limitations.Provide real‑time technical assistance to flight crews and engineersCoordinate information flow following aircraft incidents and contribute to recovery planning.Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering and maintenance priorities.Provide specialist technical support as requiredIn order to be successful in this role the Maintrol Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes Hold a valid UK/EASA Part‑66 B1 or B2 LicenceExperience in a maintenance or maintenance‑control environmentsExperience improving efficiency and reducing operational costsStrong attention to detail and adherence to processesGood understanding of airline operations and proceduresStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to interpret complex technical informationHigh level of situational awareness and decision‑making capabilityIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.In applying for the above position and sharing your personal data with JMC Aviation Limited, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (found on our website).#J-18808-Ljbffr
