This will include but is not limited to field activities such as planting and detasseling, receiving corn seed, conditioning/treating corn seed, warehousing/shipping, and equipment maintenance. Critical to this position is the ability to lead/train/supervise seasonal workers, agency workers, and full-time employees while performing production activities. This position will work in partnership with the location team to ensure production and safety goals are accomplished.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist and lead safety programsAssist and lead the training of seasonal workers, agency workers, and full-time employeesAssist in field operations and scoutingOversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipmentCoordinate, lead, and monitor operations for a single shiftDelegate and assign labor to address short-term labor shortages on the shiftOperate and calibrate seed conditioning and treating equipmentManage a load picking and/or shipping crewWarehouse finished product and supplies, including checking for accuracyLead maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipmentFacilitate, communicate, and maintain relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and seed growersComplete all paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate mannerCross train on all plant operations and multiple office dutiesLead a team in the preparation of boxes for packaging and repairsPerform duties assigned to meet company quality standards including maintenance, housekeeping, and safetyMaintain the highest level of confidentiality, customer service, and professionalismResponsible for projecting a positive image of AgReliant Genetics and acting in accordance with the Company's Core ValuesOther duties as assignedEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent required.
