Program Supervisor Provides overall leadership for all day‑to‑day operations of the program, ensuring safe, compliant, and client‑centered care.Key Responsibilities Oversees the implementation of therapeutic programming and groups by the interdisciplinary team.Maintains therapeutic documentation and ensures appropriate supervision levels at all times.Develops and supports a team that delivers quality care and promotes a harassment‑free environment through participatory management and open‑door policy.Coordinates all IDT members and enforces person‑centered treatment and behavior‑support plans, medical care, medication administration, and other services.Safeguards a secure work environment by staying current with all procedures, regulations, and best practices, and by tracking incidents, errors, and absences.Directly supervises direct‑care staff and assists the Assistant Supervisor with DSP/RBT oversight; directs activities, provides feedback, and maintains training and credential documentation.Assigns responsibilities, manages staff schedules, and ensures adequate supervision coverage on all shifts.Executes performance management, including regular feedback, written evaluations, and corrective actions.Leads hiring activities, including interviewing and selecting qualified staff in collaboration with HR.Organizes and presents ongoing training and on‑the‑job education for staff.Manages facility maintenance, supplies inventory, and financial systems, ensuring fiscal responsibility and budget adherence.Maintains all paperwork related to individual treatment, medical and medication records, incident reports, and progress documentation.Facilitates weekly program leadership meetings to assess operational issues, risks, and solutions.Participates in planning meetings, includes families and external supports, and attends regional supervisory meetings.Communicates and implements policy changes, providing training and monitoring compliance.Builds professional relationships with families, service providers, and community members to advocate for persons with disabilities.Operates YAI motor vehicle for transportation of individuals as needed.Serves as On‑Call Supervisor and, when required, performs DSP/RBT duties.Act as Transition Navigator for the BHS Home, coordinating admission, discharge, medical care, outreach, and post‑transition supports.Performs other assigned duties.Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of direct experience with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.Must be a Doctor of Medicine, osteopathic physician, Registered Nurse, or a Human Services Professional holding a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Minimum age 18.Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within one year of appointment and maintenance during assignment.Certification in Crisis Management Training and Ukeru Full Certification issued by Ukeru Systems, and additional certifications such as Medication Administration, CPR, within one year of appointment.Valid driver's license with no more than 5 points.New Jersey state drug‑test screening is mandatory before employment and randomly as applicable.Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong documentation ability.Solid supervisory and leadership skills; ability to coach and support staff in a fast‑paced environment.Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and calm‑under‑pressure capabilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and plan programmatic needs.Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office suite; proficiency in Workday and electronic medical record systems.Willingness to work outside regular hours and be on‑call as needed.Preferred Qualifications At least 3 years of supervisory experience with staff.At least 5 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as a direct support professional or in a related role.Compensation $62,000–$66,000 Per Year.Equal Opportunity Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or status as a Vietnam or disabled veteran.
