divh2Sales Strategy Leader/h2pThis role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for targeted commercial, National Accounts (3,000 employees and up), as well as, the end-to-end sales strategy and process. This role includes sales leadership of matrix partners who facilitate and assist in the sales cycle, and accountability for large and/or complex National Accounts within a dedicated market. Responsibilities include leading sales strategies, managing and developing consulting relationships, and organizing internal sales partners on the National Accounts sales team./ppResponsibilities to include:/pulliNew Sales: Lead National Accounts strategy and responses for new business opportunities/liliProspect Development: Execute National Accounts prospect development plan for the respective market for new clients and cross-sell opportunities./liliConsulting partner Development: Lead execution of consultant development strategy in the respective market for National Accounts impacting new and existing business opportunities./liliMentorship: Contribute to the development of other sales professionals as necessary, as well as, refining the National Accounts go to market approach./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliProficient knowledge (10+ years) in healthcare / managed care business; to include many or all of the following: product knowledge, underwriting, risk and financial analysis skills, marketing processes, sales practices, account management and knowledge of administrative operations/liliBachelors degree highly preferred/liliSuccessful track record and/or possesses clear aptitude as a leader, administrator, negotiator, and salesperson/liliExperience in selling and managing health care programs for large and complex/liliStrong persuasion skills and effective communicator; possesses excellent relationship-building skills/liliDemonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to plan for both the long and short term; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize work/liliDemonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners in the organization/liliCustomer focus - ability to meet customer expectations and act with a strong focus on how to deliver/liliAbility to obtain necessary licenses/liliEffective speaking and communication skills; demonstrated presentation skills/li/ulpIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload./ppThis role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan./ppAt The Cigna Group, youll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
