We're looking for an experienced Autobody or Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats.
Operates spray equipment to apply gel coat and/or flake to boat molds as per order specifications.
Job Duties:

Read work orders to check for color to be applied in which area
Assure proper taping has been performed
Use of air and airless bulk spray guns and hand pot spray gun to apply gel coat and/or flake to molds in required thickness
Move boat molds and/or small parts in and out of gel coat booth
Clean and maintain spray equipment and keep in proper working order
Clean and maintain spray booth
Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:

Ability to work early morning hours (5:00a.m.) and flexible hours
Wear respirator for 10+ hours a day
Understand the purpose of and how to use a mil-gauge
Be able to read and write English and be able to paint any color on decks or hulls
Color sensitivity
Ability to perform walking, standing, bending, pushing/pulling for 8+ hours a day
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to work in heat
Ability to work in an environment with chemical fumes, noise
Manual dexterity
Detail oriented
Have good quality habits
Have good attendance habits
Ability to follow instructions accurately
