Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite | Fridays Remote)

We are seeking an

experienced Lead Footwear Materials Designer to join the Kids & Core Footwear Design team . This role will focus on creating innovative material concepts, seasonal storytelling, and consumer-driven footwear solutions for one of the most iconic brands in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create innovative footwear material concepts and developments
• Develop seasonal material narratives and consumer-focused storytelling
• Research trends, cultural insights, and consumer behavior
• Partner with Product Design, Color Design, Merchandising, Product Management, and Development teams
• Explore new material technologies and methods of make
• Present material concepts and seasonal insights to stakeholders
• Support sustainable material innovation initiatives

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Footwear Materials Design, Footwear Design, or Product Design experience
• Strong expertise in leather-based footwear constructions
• Deep understanding of footwear materials and product creation
• Experience translating consumer insights into product solutions
• Strong presentation xsgimln and collaboration skills
• Previous client or major footwear brand experience preferred

Required Software:
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Aurora
• Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat
