Production Technician I

Medical Device Manufacturer MMQCI is seeking a Production Technician I to support the manufacture of products for our customers. This role involves a variety of tasks including labeling product tubes, assembling bottles, filling product, and kitting to maintain accurate inventory. The position requires comfort working in a clean room laboratory environment with gowning and aseptic techniques. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience using micropipettes according to established Quality System procedures are essential. Production Technicians are expected to quickly develop the expertise needed to work independently with minimal supervision.
What You Will Get to Do
Fill small tubes and bottles using micropipettes to accurately deliver small volumes
Assemble tubes, bottles, and caps in a laminar flow environment
Precisely apply labels to tubes, bottles, and kit boxes
Perform product kitting by placing tubes or bottles into kit boxes while maintaining proper temperature
Follow SOPs and document all work per cGMP and MMQCI Quality System requirements
Follows defined protocols to protect product integrity, including routine cleaning and proper use of PPE (gloves, lab coat, booties, facemask, hairnet)
Supports the operation by assisting with various tasks (autoclaving consumables, managing, and moving inventory)
Operate and troubleshoot automated production equipment and contribute process improvement ideas to streamline procedures
Required Experience & Skills
A.S or B.A./B.S. in Biology or Life Sciences with lab experience, or applicable work experience in biotechnology, preferred but not required
Familiarity with DNA/RNA products and aseptic techniques is a plus
Familiarity with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP or ISO) is a plus
Ability to work in a clean room with appropriate gowning
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and fine motor skills for lab procedures
Ability to operate associated production equipment
Strong communication and computer skills, including Excel
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or Chemistry
Experience working in a laboratory with contamination control practices
Familiarity with aseptic technique
Experience in a cGMP and/or ISO-regulated environment
Experience working in laminar flow or chemical hood environments
