divh2Community Engagement Manager/h2pThe mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens: the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel./ppThe Community Engagement Manager (CEM) will strengthen IACs presence and impact in the Los Angeles region by fostering relationships with diverse communities, expanding engagement, and driving strategic initiatives. The CEM will be responsible for organizing and managing programs and events, cultivating partnerships with local organizations, and increasing awareness of IACs mission./ppAdditionally, they will oversee the IAC Teens Programs, including recruitment, program development, community partnerships, mentor engagement, and operational and educational management./ppThis is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that reports directly to the IAC Regional Director./ppDuties include, but are not limited to:/ppCommunity Engagement

Relationship Building/pulliBuild and strengthen relationships across diverse Los Angeles communities by initiating collaborations and promoting IAC programs and events./liliRepresent the IAC in assigned communities, attending meetings and building partnerships with local organizations./liliEngage with target audiences across the region, reach new communities, and cultivate meaningful long-term relationships./liliServe as the primary contact for community leaders and maintain an active, engaged network across Los Angeles region./li/ulpProgram

Event Management/pulliLead the development, promotion, and execution of programs, sessions, and community events throughout Los Angeles region./liliGain a deep understanding of the Israeli-American community to ensure relevant, resonant programming./liliPlan, coordinate, and manage community events to ensure meaningful engagement and high satisfaction./liliBuild new programs and events to expand community participation and strengthen community ties./liliCollaborate with IAC lay leaders to design and execute regional activities and events./liliManage volunteers and maintain an active, engaged volunteer base./li/ulpTeen Programs Oversight/pulliOversee all IAC teen programs in the region, including operational, educational, and logistical components./liliBe present at teen program events to engage with students, families, and community partners./liliRecruit teen participants, mentors, speakers, and collaborating schools or organizations./liliSupport teens in project development, leadership-building workshops, and educational components./liliCoordinate with national IAC staff to ensure alignment with curriculum and organizational priorities./liliDevelop cross-program collaborations between teen programming and other IAC initiatives./li/ulpMarketing

Communication/pulliCreate and execute a marketing plan for regional programs and events, including digital content, social media, newsletters, and community outreach./liliMaintain high-quality, professional representation of the IAC in all communications and interactions./li/ulpFunding

Grant Writing/pulliAssist in researching and drafting grant proposals to secure funding for programs, events, and initiatives./li/ulpSkills

Qualifications/pulliBachelors degree./liliStrong connection to Israeli and American identities; familiarity with Israeli culture, people, history, and current events./liliStrong interpersonal and community-building skills./liliExperience working with teens or youth programs is highly preferred./liliFlexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends for events and seminars./liliExperience in the Israeli and/or Jewish community sector is an advantage./liliHighly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented./liliStrong operational and administrative skills./liliAbility to work collaboratively and respectfully with stakeholders at all levels./liliFluent spoken Hebrew is required; reading and writing proficiency is a plus./liliFluent in English - full comprehension, speaking, writing, and reading./li/ulp**Full-time employees working 20 plus hours per week shall be eligible for insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision,
