Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager I, you will work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other leaders to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue for the organization. Your core duties include identifying new customers, presenting compelling solutions, converting prospects into Belimed clients, managing existing client accounts for satisfaction and referrals, and contributing to the company’s market position and financial growth targets. You will also build key customer relationships, negotiate and close deals, maintain knowledge of market conditions, and assist with defining long‑term strategic goals.

Territory & Travel
Territory: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi

Travel: Overnight up to 75% within the US, with residency near a major airport in the designated territory required.

New Business Development

Prospect for new clients within a targeted segment to increase organizational revenue.

Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of opportunities throughout the designated area.

Identify and work with key decision makers within client organizations.

Research and build relationships with new clients at key levels.

Plan approaches and pitches; work with the team to develop solution proposals addressing client needs.

Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

Present solutions that create the ultimate desired outcome for the customer.

Client Retention

Present new products and services to enhance existing relationships.

Collaborate with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Business Development Planning

Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback on market and creative trends.

Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will increase sales.

Use market and competitor knowledge to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research

Submit weekly progress reports and ensure sales data accuracy.

Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.

Forecast sales targets monthly and ensure team goals are met.

Track and record activity on key accounts, helping to close new business and meet or exceed financial targets.

Collaborate with marketing staff to fulfill prerequisites timely.

Provide business development training and mentoring to business developers and internal staff.

Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.

Understand the company’s goal and purpose to directly influence organizational success.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

2+ years of successful capital medical sales experience.

Demonstrated success in strategic selling with a 2-3 year business horizon.

Exceptional customer service skills, building trustful customer partnerships.

Rapid reading of the business landscape and recognition of customer operations.

Effective relational communication style and listening skills with ability to quickly summarize and articulate customer issues.

Excellent time‑management skills, prioritizing high‑potential accounts.

Integrity and ethical conduct even under high stress.

Action‑oriented with a high sense of urgency.

Negotiation skills balanced between Belimed and customer needs.

Proficiency with sales documents, contracts, purchase orders, and financial spreadsheets.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 75% within the US.
