In this role, you will be responsible for assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. If you are someone who is a highly motivated team player who is willing to support a fast paced team environment and detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight then this role is for you./ph4What Youll Do/h4ulliFollow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems/liliUse various hand tools and power tools to put components together/liliCombine different subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system/liliEnsure compatibility and proper communication between integrated components/liliMaintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered/liliFollow safety protocols and procedures in the workplace/liliPossibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed/li/ulh4Required Qualifications/h4ulli1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry is preferred) performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies/liliProficient with common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes or specialized test equipment/liliProficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)/liliAble to read a wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions/liliAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment/liliAbility to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production/liliMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities/li/ulh4Preferred Qualifications/h4ulliDemonstrated experience with many aspects of aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, integration, and avionics build/integration/test/liliMechanically assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components involving hand soldering and component fabrication/liliPerform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks/liliPrior hands-on experience with kit, model, or experimental aircraft builds/liliElectronic box assembly troubleshooting, and writing detailed issue tickets for failures/liliRunning functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes/liliTesting and running RF systems/liliTroubleshoot extensively/liliLoading firmware onto integrated digital systems/liliRunning LabView scripts/liliPCBA integration and troubleshooting/liliBasic understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles/liliAssist with kitting products, as needed/liliAssociates or Bachelors degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Hard Science, Business, etc.)/liliHolds an Airframe and Powerplant (AP) license or has similar training/liliForklift certification/li/ulh4US Hourly Range/h4pProduction Technician/Level 1: $25 - $33/hour Production Technician/Level 2: $28 - $38/hour Production Technician/Level 3: $33 - $43/hour Your job level will be tailored to your individual qualifications, including your job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience./ppThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
