Job Summary
The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic activities across a defined multi-state region. This role drives business performance and profitable growth through strong leadership, operational excellence, and execution of company strategy while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The RVP provides direction to regional and branch leadership teams to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and a high-performance culture.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with company goals
Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans across multiple states and branches
Identify growth opportunities including market expansion, acquisitions, service enhancements, and business conversions
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform decision-making
Customer & Market Focus
Strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
Partner with sales leadership to drive business development and client retention
Represent the company within the region and industry
Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations across all locations within the region
Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, policies, and procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction/retention
Partner with functional leaders (HR, Finance, Safety, Sales) to ensure operational alignment
Financial Performance
Own full P&L responsibility for the region/territory
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
Drive revenue growth while maintaining cost discipline and margin improvement
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Directors, Branch Managers, and functional leaders
Build a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning and talent development
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance
Support recruiting and retention strategies across the region
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards
Mitigate operational and financial risks across the region
Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to regulatory requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site or multi-state operations
Proven track record of managing large teams and driving financial performance
Experience with full P&L ownership and strategic planning

Physical Demands/Requirements:
Position is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
Extensive travel (5070%) across assigned multi-state region. Ability to travel by car, train, and plane
Ability to manage remote teams and operate across multiple time zones
May spend time working away from BrightView's places of business, walking job sites, selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView's services
Position needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on job sites with clients and the branch team for periods of time
Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur
Work Environment:
Operates in both an office environment and in the Field
