To support our business priorities and strengthen the Tyson Foods brand, we are seeking a Manager, Corporate & Brand Communications to support external communications and public relations efforts for both the enterprise and the family of brands.
This role will focus on executing communications across media relations, business unit storytelling, and plant-level communications, working closely with the Director of Corporate Communications and in partnership with marketing, business units, and external agency partners.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and critical thinker who can develop high-quality materials quickly, manage multiple priorities, and deliver consistent, accurate, and timely communications in a fast-paced environment. The Tyson Foods communications team supports the entire enterprise communication function and works closely with each business leader and the executive team.
Responsibilities

Support media relations and external response efforts

Handle inbound media inquiries and coordinate responses
Draft media responses aligned with enterprise priorities

Develop core communications materials

Draft clear, concise, and compelling materials, including media statements, talking points, press releases, and Q&A

Support issues and crisis communications

Develop responsive materials and coordinate inputs across legal, business units, and subject matter experts

Coordinate cross-functional communications efforts

Partner cross-functionally to gather input, align messaging, and manage execution

Facilities and Plant Communications Support

Support external communications related to Tyson Foods facilities, including plant operations, community engagement, and local issues
Develop messaging and materials for plant-related topics, including operational updates, community and workforce initiatives, and local media engagement
Partner with plant leadership and business units to support communications tied to plant-level issues or events

Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree in Communications or a related field
Experience: 8+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations or a related field
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, external-facing messaging
Experience drafting media and communications materials
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage deliverables effectively
