The Event Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient transport, loading, unloading and set up of sanitation equipment. This role ensures timely delivery and setup for a variety of events while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate trucks and pull large trailers, moving and placing sanitation equipment, operating vacuum trucks and forklifts onsite or flatbeds to deliver and pick up equipment to and from event locations.
Navigate unique and often complex event site plans.
Properly and securely pack, load, and unload event equipment to prevent damage during transport.
Work with a crew to install and dismantle equipment on-site according to client specifications.
Serve as a point of contact for venue staff, addressing on-site needs and ensuring the highest level of professionalism and service.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
When not on a delivery route, assist with warehouse tasks, including inventory management, order preparation, and equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Trouble shoot and repair equipment issues at event sites, adapting quickly to changes in schedules or event restrictions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education, Skills, and Abilities Required

A high school diploma or GED is required, with relevant technical certifications or an Associate's degree in a related field being highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Driver.
A valid, clean driver's license is required. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or CDL B with tanker endorsement) may be necessary depending on the size of the company's vehicles.
Forklift certification
Previous experience in delivery, event setup, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy objects, sometimes up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks for long periods in various weather conditions.
Requires a positive, professional, and patient demeanor when interacting with clients and event teams.
In-depth understanding of how to read plans and site layouts
Must be available to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays,as required by event schedule.
The ability to work cooperatively with crew leaders and other team members is crucial for on-site execution.

Working Environment:

When working an event, plan on being on site for an extended period of time
Travel requirements: 100% travel to include travel in regional hub location and some additional travel to assist other event hub locations and disaster response, as needed.
Work schedule varies: weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays, and/or be on-call
Proper Personal Equipment:

Bring appropriate and presentable clothing to include jackets, hats, raingear, ice cleats, gloves, winter wear, etc. and other items that may vary based on the Client's requirements.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes, but is not limited to, proper footwear with box-toed OSHA rating, DRG issued safety traffic vest/shirt, hardhat, safety glasses and other items that may vary based on the Client's requirements.
