A growing apparel business is seeking a Designer to support the design, development, and execution of seasonal casual wear collections across multiple brands and retail channels.This is a hands-on role working directly alongside the Design Director, with a strong focus on denim-led collections alongside broader casual apparel categories. The right person will bring strong product taste, technical understanding, trend awareness, and the ability to manage day-to-day design and development responsibilities in a fast-moving, customer-led environmentThe role would suit someone who is highly organized, commercially aware, detail-driven, and confident working independently when required, particularly while senior leadership is traveling for customer presentations, development meetings, and market activity.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Design Director in the creation and execution of seasonal apparel collections across multiple brands and customersResearch emerging fashion, market, wash, fabric, fit, and styling trendsBuild trend, concept, customer, and presentation decksAssist with wash development, garment curation, and seasonal assortment planningCreate and maintain accurate technical packages, including garment construction detailsCommunicate daily with overseas factories and vendors regarding development, submits, approvals, timelines, and executionReview samples and provide clear comments on wash, fit, construction, handfeel, and overall aestheticOrganize and track development calendars, sample flow, deadlines, and presentation requirementsEnsure product execution aligns with customer expectations, brand positioning, and trend directionManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detailSupport and independently manage daily denim department responsibilities when neededExperience Required5–7+ years of apparel design or product development experience, with denim experience essentialStrong understanding of denim washes, fits, fabrications, garment construction, and casual apparel categoriesExperience creating tech packs and working directly with overseas factoriesProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and AI design/productivity platformsStrong eye for trend, styling, detail, and elevated commercial product executionExcellent communication, organization, and follow-up skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environmentSelf-starter with a positive attitude, strong ownership, and the ability to work independe
