Apparel Designer

Location: Beaverton, ORSchedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)Employment Type: Full-time salaried position with benefitsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Apparel Designer to join a collaborative team focused on developing seasonal product lines. This individual will work cross-functionally with design, merchandising, and other internal partners to bring concepts to life from initial development through production. The ideal candidate has a strong design aesthetic, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced apparel environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and development of seasonal apparel collections.Research trends in style, color, and silhouette to inform product direction.Create design sketches and technical flats for styles in development.Partner with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, graphics, and production.Assist in preparing and maintaining tech packs and other product development documentation.Participate in fittings, sample reviews, and design revisions as needed.Communicate updates, feedback, and approvals throughout the product development process.Assist with presentations, line reviews, and key milestone meetings.Contribute to special projects and seasonal initiatives as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.Several years of experience in apparel design.Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Ability to create technical sketches and support product development documentation.Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong aesthetic sensibility and understanding of market trends.Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
