RKMB, LLC is searching for a Freelance Designer for immediate start on a project or hour basis. Amount to be determined based on experience and design talent level. Develop and create a vision for new product line assortments. Strong technical experience is a plus. Responsibilities:Design, development, and manage the Ladies Contemporary Swim business from concept to production:ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify trend directionsShop marketplace, our competitive set and for inspiration and product opportunitiesPlan the line according to style plans, sales needs and emerging trendsDevelop product, and marketing concepts for emerging categories or itemsDevelop fabrics, color palettes, special trims and styling detailsPrepare trend boards for management meetingsEnsure product is being designed within cost parametersManage all overseas communication with sample facilities for sample executionAttend/Manage all development and production fittingsEnsure production fits are to our specificationsAdhere to time and action calendarCreate and Manage Cads, Linesheets, and Tech PacksQualifications5 plus years of experience in swim designKnowledge and understanding of swim related fabricsExcellent organizational skillsProficiency in Illustrator and PhotoshopHand sketching abilities on Procreate or similar digital program a plusProblem-solving abilities in meeting deadlines.Microsoft Office ProgramsBA Degree in Fashion DesignMust be eligible to work in US without additional sponsorship/visa requirements.
