Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Identify client insurance needs through consultations and risk assessments.

Provide expert guidance on suitable coverage options and insurance products.

Negotiate policy terms and premiums with insurance carriers to ensure competitive pricing.

Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform clients and enhance service offerings.

Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy recommendations to clients.

Collaborate with the underwriting team to facilitate smooth policy issuance and claims management.

Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.

Stay updated on changes in insurance products and market trends to adopt best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Active Connecticut insurance license (Property & Casualty) required.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex insurance policies.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Desired Experience:

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or brokering.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on relationship-building.

Familiarity with various commercial insurance products and services.
