Role Overview
The Associate Project Manager will support the games licensing function for a leading global media and entertainment organization. This role partners with internal franchise stakeholders and external licensed game developers to support the development, launch, and ongoing operations of branded games across mobile, console, PC, and emerging platforms.
This individual will help drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure games align with brand standards, meet production timelines, and deliver high-quality player experiences while supporting business and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support oversight of licensed games from concept through launch and into live operations, partnering with internal stakeholders and external development teams.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts across production, franchise, marketing, and licensing teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities.
Facilitate the review and approval process for game design, art, and development builds to ensure brand consistency and quality standards.
Track timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent game projects and live operations initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to support effective collaboration and delivery.
Support asset acquisition, approvals, and stakeholder feedback loops to meet production deadlines.
Analyze and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and contribute to quarterly reporting.
Maintain project documentation, workflows, and alignment materials including roadmaps, calendars, and strategic outlines.
Research gameplay trends, competitor products, and monetization models to inform recommendations and improve game quality.
Required Qualifications
2–5+ years of experience in project management, production coordination, or partner management within games, media, or entertainment environments.
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders across business, creative, and technical teams.
Experience working with AAA entertainment brands, gaming studios, or licensed IP-driven products.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners across varying levels.
Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and approvals across multiple concurrent projects.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
