Position Summary
The Marketing Manager supports the Marketing Department’s efforts to increase public awareness, attendance, and revenue for events, institutional programs, and initiatives at the Broward Center and its managed venues. This role develops and implements strategic marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with internal teams, community partners, and external vendors.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute marketing plans, including digital advertising, social media, radio, TV, print and outdoor advertising opportunities.
Negotiate editorial coverage in tandem with media buys and collaborate with the Public Relations Agency to secure press coverage for events.
Understand event ticket sales and its impact on consumer demand and suggest pricing and special promotions for subscriptions, single tickets and promotional packages, including dynamic pricing campaigns.
Formulate, monitor and report key sales performance metrics and progress.
Collaborate with media and community partners to promote the venues and maximize exposure.
Communicate with third‑party agencies and artist representatives to secure, localize and approve advertising assets for assigned shows.
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure marketing initiatives are executed as planned.
Prepare marketing expenses and documentation for settlement procedures.
Contribute to invoice retrieval, coding and processing for the marketing department.
Contribute to the organization and execution of institutional digital and print publications.
Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Proficient in MS Office and related web‑based tools.
Understand CRM concepts and database management to target audience(s).
Desired Education and Experience
BA/BS in Marketing, PR, Communications, Business, Arts Administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Two (2) years of hands‑on entertainment marketing experience, preferably in a non‑profit arts setting.
Proven success in achieving ticket sales goals and revenue contribution.
