Diplomatic Clearance Manager
Duties

Manages the Diplomatic Clearance Application System (DCAS) with delegated authority to review and approve overflight, landing, and entry clearances for foreign government aircraft (including all military aircraft) and ships.
Establishes procedures for the Diplomatic Aircraft and Ship Clearance Team, coordinating team actions and ensuring that team members are qualified and trained to perform their duties.
Formulates, develops, and implements U.S. policies associated with aviation and maritime security.
Leads the efforts of the aviation and maritime security team in preparing reports and responses for Congress, as well as coordinating activities with foreign governments and international organizations.
Represents the organizational unit in Departmental and interagency meetings tasked with developing new techniques, policies, and program management approaches to advance U.S. aviation and maritime security objectives.
