Fish Shop is a locally loved seafood restaurant brand serving fresh fish, great drinks and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere across four San Diego locations: Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Encinitas and Oceanside.

We're known for our laid-back coastal vibe, quality food, strong community connections and memorable guest experiences. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic, creative and highly organized Marketing Manager to help drive traffic, build brand awareness and strengthen our connection with guests throughout San Diego County.

Role Description
The Marketing Manager will lead the day-to-day execution of Fish Shop's local marketing efforts across all four restaurant locations. This is a hands‑on role focused on content creation, community engagement, event marketing, social media management, reputation management and local brand building.

The ideal candidate is comfortable spending time in restaurants capturing content, attending events, building relationships with local organizations and bringing creative marketing ideas to life.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with Fish Shop leadership and our agency partner, All Points Public Relations, which supports overall marketing strategy, public relations, paid media, influencer marketing and campaign development.

Qualifications

3‑7+ years of marketing experience or comparable experience

Restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage or lifestyle marketing experience preferred

Strong digital marketing and social media management experience

Demonstrated content creation skills, including short‑form video production

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and project management abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong capabilities in managing paid digital marketing campaigns and reputation management platforms

Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between all four Fish Shop locations

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and content capture

Preferred Qualifications

Experience marketing multi‑location businesses

Experience planning and promoting events

Experience with influencer and creator partnerships

Experience with customer loyalty and retention marketing

Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profiles

Familiarity with restaurant technology platforms such as Toast, OpenTable, Resy, DoorDash and Uber Eats

Community partnership or sponsorship experience

Basic website management experience

Hospitality operations experience as a manager, server, bartender or restaurant team member
