What You'll Do As a Customer Service Manager

Plan, coordinate, promote & direct assistance and informational services to respond to complaints, inquiries &/or requests for information for variety of clients & supervise assigned staff;

Direct & coordinate all activities of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), In-House Processing Unit, including all Covert issuances in the Field Operations Section;

Direct assistance & information services in response to complaints, inquiries, &/or requests for information from governmental agencies & businesses;

Act as a liaison between subordinate employees & the general public;

Develop procedures to facilitate training on In-House issuance, & accurate telephone service to clients in conjunction with Section Chief & Deputy Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications

12 months training or 12 months experience in departmental operations & programs, policies & procedures for assigned agency;

12 months training or 12 months experience in federal & state laws regarding operation of assigned agency;

One course or 3 months experience in public relations;

One course or 3 months experience in applications of mathematical, analytical &/or statistical methods used in formulating & solving problems or in decision making;

One course or 3 months experience in public speaking, speech or communication;

6 months training or 6 months experience in supervisory principles/techniques.

Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
