Position: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Lima, Ohio. Fully on‑site. Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Pay Schedule: Weekly.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment for all employees

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Oversee daily shop floor operations and workflow

Assign and manage employee work assignments

Monitor production efficiency and sign off on production runs

Ensure deadlines and production targets are met

Support quality systems and compliance (ISO 9001 / QMS)

Assist with corrective and preventative actions on nonconforming products

Support inspection processes and automated quality systems

Support/perform CNC and CMM programming

Support Kardex storage system and shop organization (5S)

Supervise, coach, and develop employees

Train new and existing team members

Act as a communication link between departments and leadership

Report to Operations Manager and senior management

Coordinate maintenance needs and request work orders

Analyze production processes and generate reports

Qualifications

Strong leadership and team management skills

Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Conflict resolution and employee relations skills

Organizational and time‑management skills

Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / 5S principles)

Technical aptitude in manufacturing processes

Working knowledge of QMS / ISO 9001

Experience with CMM programming and CNC programming

Experience with corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
