The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a

Audio/Visual Specialist

to provide support for our government customer in Dayton, OH at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Responsibilities

Assist in the inventory and maintenance of the studio audio visual/computer-related equipment as directed by the Government representative.
Edit all multimedia projects that were previously developed, as directed by the Government representative.
Assist with the ordering, storing, coding/entering inventory into database, and disposing of all audio visual/computer related equipment as directed by the Government representative.
Provide audio visual consultation to instructors, leaders and staff, including demonstrating and teaching the use of classroom equipment.
Consult with subject-matter experts and/or instructional designers to convey a specific message to a targeted audience through a visual medium by building quality graphics for online learning products, including computer-based training courses, classroom technical inserts, and stand-alone training products such as video or audio-based instruction.
Provide consultative support to subject-matter experts and/or instructional designers desiring to develop their own graphics/content.
Edit, create, design and produce audio, video, photography, and other multimedia content for advertising needs as directed by the Government representative.
Exhibit and apply expertise in professional marketing and mass communications activities, supporting communications and marketing activities.
Demonstrate and exhibit an ability to lead and participate in a team of mass communications professionals working in tandem to achieve strategic communications goals.
Ensure that all products developed meet the requirements set forth in the AFRL/PA brand book and other applicable requirements for the development of branding, creating logos, coins, and marketing materials.
Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using computer graphics and special effects for video postproduction in accordance with the overall production concepts; compress video projects for output; make video products available in a variety of formats; coordinate internal and external duplication services as required.
Participate in and support other projects within skill sets; project may include writing continuity documents, attending or presenting at local eLearning symposiums, defining capabilities for potential customers, collaborating with local colleges or multi-service partners, and supporting other special projects.
Support, evaluate, consult, and manage all educational technology as directed by Government representative.
Required Degree / Education / Certification

The candidate shall at a minimum have a bachelor’s degree in electronic media, Video Broadcast, or a related field.
In lieu of a degree, must have at least 5 years of Audio-Visual Technology experience.
Required Skills and Experience

Broadcast production experience with progressive responsibility in a professional video edit/production environment demonstrating competency in all areas of video production desired.
Experience developing e-learning packages for distribution on learning management systems.
Proficient with Adobe programs including Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Captivate; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team.
Must have the ability to work through problems quickly and independently.
Proficient with Film Theory; educational theory a plus; broadcast experience a plus; Tricaster® experience a plus.
Must be willing and able to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Must possess: organizational skills, ability to achieve set goals; initiative in performing assigned tasks; ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity; and ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
Desired Skills and Experience

Familiarity with Department of Defense branding and communication policies (e.g., Tongue and Quill).
Experience working in a military setting, understanding of rank structure, policies, and procedures.
Expertise in Office 365 tools (e.g., MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Power BI, Microsoft Forms).
Required Citizenship and Clearance

Must be a Born or Naturalized U.S. citizen; possession of a permanent resident card (“Green Card”) or Work VISA does not equate to U.S. citizenship.
Must pass a Tier 1 ((T1)/SF85) background check for a Position of Trust clearance.
