Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Requirements SME / Cluster Lead to support the development and management of vehicle-level system requirements across multiple automotive domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems engineering background with expertise in requirements engineering, impact analysis, and system architecture.

This role operates in the early phases of product development, before detailed design and validation activities begin. The primary responsibility is to assess the impact of feature changes, carry‑over content, and new vehicle functions on existing system requirements, ensuring that requirements remain technically robust, traceable, and aligned with vehicle program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze new vehicle features, feature modifications, and carry‑over content to determine impacts on existing system requirements.

Perform technical impact assessments and identify the need for requirement updates, additions, or releases.

Develop, review, and maintain system‑level requirements in collaboration with domain experts and stakeholders.

Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, traceable, and aligned with vehicle architecture.

Collaborate with vehicle feature owners, system architects, engineering teams, and validation teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Defend and justify requirement changes during technical reviews and stakeholder discussions.

Support requirement release activities and ensure downstream teams are informed of requirement updates.

Facilitate alignment between customer requirements, system architecture, and engineering implementation.

Present technical topics and requirement decisions to diverse stakeholder groups, including customer representatives and senior management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in automotive product development with significant exposure to systems engineering and requirements management.

Experience working with vehicle‑level functions, system requirements, and architecture development.

Required Technical Skills

Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles.

Experience defining, reviewing, and managing system requirements.

Ability to perform technical impact analysis for feature changes and new vehicle programs.

Understanding of system architecture and requirement decomposition.

Familiarity with requirement management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, or equivalent.

Knowledge of requirement traceability and change management processes.

Ability to interpret vehicle functions and translate them into structured system requirements.

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.
