Position Title: Digital Marketing Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Marketing
Scheduled Hours: Mon-Fri / 8:00am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Own the health, performance, and growth of burkett.com as our primary digital storefront.
Lead SEO strategy and executions such as keyword research, site audits, rank tracking, and on-page recommendations with a focus on driving qualified organic traffic.
Champion UX improvements through heatmap analysis, session recordings, and funnel data — identifying friction and testing solutions to improve the customer journey.
Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts to increase add-to-cart rates, checkout completion, and overall site revenue.
Manage all content that represents Burkett across digital channels, from what lives on our website to what we publish on social and send via email.
Maintain a content calendar that aligns website updates, campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches across all channels.
Develop original content for key channels: website copy, blog articles, email campaigns, social media posts, and promotional materials adapting tone and format for each platform.
Oversee Burkett's social media presence across primary and secondary platforms; managing the publishing calendar and growing audience engagement.
Collaborate across departments and manage stakeholders.
Drive direct revenue through owned and paid channels building lifecycle programs that retain customers and paid campaigns that efficiently acquire new ones.
Build, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns and paid social; monitor spend, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
Analyze campaign and flow performance regularly; present actionable insights and optimization recommendations to leadership.
Own marketing analytics, pulling data from multiple channels & sources into unified dashboards and reports.
Define and track KPIs across all focus areas; deliver regular performance updates to leadership with context and recommended next steps.
Identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities through ongoing analysis; use insights to continuously refine the optimization roadmap.
Stay current on industry trends, platform algorithm updates, and emerging tools — bring relevant recommendations to the team proactively.
Requirements
5-7+ years of digital marketing experience, with a proven track record managing multi‑channel programs.
Supportive leadership style grounded in emotional intelligence, trust, and accountability, with the ability to balance high performance standards and organizational goals.
Strong content creation, management, and delivery abilities across key channels.
Hands‑on experience with email/CRM platforms; Klaviyo experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Google Analytics / GA4 and comfort turning data into decisions.
Experience managing paid search and/or paid social campaigns.
Strong writing skills with the ability to produce content across multiple formats and channels.
Excellent communication skills; ability to present clearly and concisely to leadership.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Self‑starter who can own initiatives end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in e‑commerce, retail, or B2B/B2C product marketing.
Background in the foodservice, restaurant, or hospitality supply industry.
Familiarity with Shopify and marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay, or similar).
Google Ads or Google Analytics certification.
Hands‑on experience with CRO and A/B testing tools (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, or similar).
Experience with content calendar or project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, CoSchedule).
