Description
KG Stevens is the largest solid surface and granite/quartz fabricator in Wisconsin and due to our tremendous growth, we are looking for a Shift Slabsmith Photographer to join our team! Our company is comprised of over 110 dedicated employees serving the commercial and residential building & remodeling industries.

Daily Responsibilities

Use overhead crane to load and unload stone and quartz slabs onto an evaluation/photo station

Create high resolution digital images of our inventory from physical slabs

Calibrate Slabsmith camera as needed to ensure image quality

Visually inspect and verify quality of raw materials received for fabrication

Use tape to accurately mark areas of concern on slabs of granite, marble, quartz, etc.

Accurately maintain inventory related information in a computer database

Clean work area to ensure cleanliness and safe working conditions are maintained

Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe and effective operation

Follow all Company Policies & Procedures and adhere to all OSHA protocols

Assist with various other duties as needed

The Ideal Candidate Would Have the Following Experience

Previous work in a manufacturing environment

Experience operating an overhead crane

Basic computer literacy

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Possess a great attention to detail

Time management and ability to multi-task

Ability to follow instructions, read paperwork and communicate with others to complete tasks

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Be safety conscious

Commit to work on time and retain communication with the Shop Foreman

Have a positive attitude, possess a strong work ethic and have a desire to work with and help others achieve our production goals

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to airborne particles and moderate to high noise levels while in the shop. Safety equipment is provided for employees that will be in these areas. In addition, the employee will be standing for long periods of time and must be able to handle hot and cold temperature changes.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally need to lift or move objects over 70+ pounds. Must be able to properly grasp, feel, bend, reach and lift without reasonable accommodations.
