THE ROLE

Pirq is looking for a creative, strategic, and highly hands-on Social Media Manager to bring our brand to life online. This role will own Pirq's organic social presence end-to-end — from content strategy and creation to community engagement — and play a key part in building an audience that's genuinely excited about what we're doing. What You'll Do


Content Creation & Production

  • Plan, concept, script, film, edit, and post short-form video and photo content across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms
  • Own the content calendar and ensure a consistent cadence of on-brand, engaging posts
  • Develop and iterate on content formats — from product showcases and recipe content to founder stories and trending audio
  • Create strong hooks, storylines, text overlays, transitions, pacing, and editing styles designed to increase watch time, retention, saves, and shares
  • Capture content at in-person brand events, retailer activations, and community moments — turning real-life Pirq experiences into compelling social content
  • Bring a genuine POV to content: you're not just executing a brief, you're helping shape Pirq's voice and online presence


Organic Social Strategy

  • Develop and maintain Pirq's content pillars and platform-specific strategies
  • Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, native editing styles, trending audio, memes, creator behavior, cultural moments, and audience behavior to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Proactively pitch new concepts, repeatable content series, collaborations, and creative opportunities without waiting for a formal brief
  • Use analytics to understand what's working, optimize performance, and inform future content decisions
  • Collaborate with the broader team on campaign moments, product launches, and brand announcements


Community Management

  • Monitor and engage with Pirq's social communities across platforms — comments, DMs, tags, and mentions
  • Build authentic relationships with followers and identify opportunities to amplify organic love for the brand
  • Support influencer and creator seeding efforts to grow awareness and drive user-generated content


Reporting & Organization

  • Track and report on key social metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance
  • Test hooks, formats, video lengths, captions, posting times, and creative approaches to continuously improve performance
  • Maintain an organized content library, posting schedule, and creative assets
  • Share regular insights and recommendations with the team to continuously improve our social presence
  • Collaborate with marketing, graphic design, sales, events, and leadership to ensure social content supports broader brand and business priorities


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role
  • Strong hands-on content creation skills in CapCut and Reels editor, and posting natively across platforms
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including trends, formats, editing styles, and algorithms
  • Familiarity with social analytics tools (Sprout Social, Later, native platform insights, etc.)
  • Excellent written communication and a natural feel for brand voice
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a content calendar and multiple projects simultaneously
  • No fear of filming in public and comfortable on and behind the camera, — you're the person who will absolutely film a TikTok trend in the middle of a busy grocery store and not think twice about it
  • Self-starter who can work independently and bring ideas to the table without being prompted
  • Passion for wellness, food & beverage, and consumer brands

  • Please include 3–5 links to short-form content you personally created. For each example, briefly explain your specific role, including what you ideated, filmed, edited, wrote, and published.
  • Candidates advancing through the interview process may be asked to complete a short, paid content exercise


Bonus Points

  • Experience working with CPG, beverage, wellness, fitness, or lifestyle brands
  • Photography skills and a good eye for product and lifestyle shots
  • Experience creating content tied to retail launches, in-store activations, or live events
  • Graphic design basics — comfortable pulling together simple assets in Canva
  • Strong copywriting instincts, especially for captions and hooks
  • Knowledge of SEO and hashtag strategy for TikTok and Instagram discoverability

COMPENSATION

  • $80,000 - $90,000 base salary + bonus.
  • The actual base salary will vary based on factors such as market conditions, relevant experience, portfolio strength, skills and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process. The salary range provided is a guideline and may be adjusted accordingly.
